A closer look at the new service

Our personalized-pattern page now lets you explore a person or pet portrait across six crafts: cross-stitch, punch needle, crochet, hand embroidery, paper crafts, and quilting & patchwork. Select a subject and craft to see the corresponding example.

The examples share one reference portrait for each subject, making it easier to compare how a face changes across materials. They are illustrative concepts, not photographs of completed, tested patterns.

A considered set of choices

We narrowed the personalized selection from the store’s broader craft categories to six approaches that give us a clearer starting point for portrait work. The general catalog still includes the other craft categories.

A useful personalized pattern needs more than a striking image. The chosen size, materials, colour range and instructions must work together. The level of detail will be agreed after the customer’s photo is reviewed.

What you can try today

You can browse examples and prepare a request locally on the service page. Photo previews stay in your browser in this development version. Requests are not yet sent, and checkout is not open. The service is presented at $39, with the project confirmed before payment when ordering becomes available.

Visit Personalized patterns to explore the six directions. We will update the page when receiving requests and payment are connected.
